It is a food supplement based on Biocell Collagen® (hydrolyzed collagen type II: collagen type II, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid), glucosamine, proanthocyanidins from grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera) and vitamin E.
Connective tissues (such as the vitreous body of the eye) are made up of specialized cells, a fibrillar matrix, and water.
The fundamental components of the matrix are collagen and proteoglycans.
These fibrillar molecules act as support, but physiologically they are subject to oxidative or enzymatic degradation processes, balanced by continuous synthesis.
With aging or in specific situations, degenerative processes prevail over synthetic processes, so it is necessary to act by blocking the former (degenerative processes) and stimulating the latter (synthetic processes).
